MENDing Yar'Adua's Amnesty

Yaradua is no fool. He's not confused as the author say. Nigerian oil money was going down with MEND attacks going up. Pres. Umaru Yaradua knows that economy will suffer unless he makes peace and amnesty. I pray it works but Federal people must give development to Niger Delta more than amnesty. Development is the best amnesty and antidote to militancy. Thanks.

This is another fine essay you have written Hakeem, full of facts and addresses the issue at hand. Please keep it coming, we need people with your powerful writings to give us hope for our country. One thing is for sure, our leaders must realize that until they resolve the main issue of inequity in the NDelta, true peace will not reign as suggested by Prof. David-West.
